Here is a list of upcoming opportunities for jewelers:

WJA MEMBER GRANT:  Member Grants are awarded to female, professional-level WJA members in increments of $500 to be used toward professional growth.  Deadline: 1/31/17https://wjasf.wufoo.com/forms/mptxe700g8ovsv/

2017 CARELLE GRANT, IN HONOR OF BROOKE TIVOL MCGRATH  $5,000. Eligible candidates must be current members of the WJA and in their first 5 years of business. Applicants are required to submit an essay explaining why she deserves this award. Emphasis is placed on personal dedication and determination as well as a positive attitude toward the industry

THE CINDY EDELSTEIN MENTORSHIP AWARD  This award was established to honor our colleague and friend, Cindy Edelstein whose life was a consummate example of selflessness and altruism. Cindy was renowned for her dedication to the development, encouragement, and enrichment of the talents and lives of others.  Entries are being accepted from 1/15- 3/30   https://wjasf.wufoo.com/forms/z1c8kusn0pkmc54/

THE CINDY EDELSTEIN DESIGN SCHOLARSHIP  $5,000.  The recipient can pursue either design or business courses, providing they are focused on improving her artistry and/or her designer jewelry business. First-year submissions accepted May 1-June 23, 2017. A link to the scholarship application form will be posted on the WJA website by May 1. WJA will announce the winner at its Awards for Excellence gala on July 24, 2017, in New York City.
