Octahedron Diamonds

Todd Reed Octahedron Diamond necklace

Diamonds were first used in jewelry in the 13th Century, before diamond cutting was a known skill. The first stones were used in their natural octahedral shape.

The technique of diamond cutting has really developed since then, so most diamonds you see are cut, but we still appreciate diamonds in their natural form.

Below are some of our favorite designs featuring octahedron diamonds:

Here at Todd Reed, we will always be inspired by rough and uncut diamonds – especially Todd, of course.

Raw diamonds offer a unique character every time; the unique surfaces and textures are individual and deeply inspiring.” – Todd Reed
