Mined in America: Palladium

Todd Reed cuff

One of the common metals seen in our designs is palladium. The material is similar to platinum, but we prefer palladium for a few reasons.

When Todd first started using Palladium he was attracted to the color. “The dark grey is sexy, simple and totally natural,” says Todd. He also liked the warmth of the metal as opposed to the cold feeling of platinum. It’s light yet strong, unique and shows a level of elegance and craftsmanship.

Our favorite reason to use palladium, though, is that it’s mined in America – south-central Montana, to be exact. We work with Stillwater Mines – the only U.S. producer of palladium.

Support local and enjoy your long weekend!
