Life has changed since businesses like ours temporarily closed our storefronts to the public almost three months ago.
During the closure, we missed seeing clients come in the door and neighbors open up shop each day, and we missed working closely as a team, in person, the way we always have.
Although we only recently re-opened the showroom for physical business, we were fortunate to be able to continue serving clients virtually during the safer-at-home mandate. During this time, we worked together from afar to develop creative ways to share the collection while maintaining safe distances and sanitation practices.
We knew it was a possibility that implementing new safety measures would feel strange compared to the experience we have all become accustomed to over the years, and at times, it is strange! But we're finding that, in so many ways, we feel more able than ever to offer an elevated, one-on-one shopping experience. And now that we are open again, we are doing just that ... only, a little differently.
In order to keep everyone safe, we are limiting the number of appointments we are hosting in the showroom at a time. This allows clients to enjoy additional privacy, time, and care while they are with us. Virtual appointments have become a commonplace way for us to spend time with those who don't live nearby, but who want to explore the collection.
Additionally, each piece is being sanitized before and after every client, and each of us is wearing gloves and masks.
Historically, luxury has been synonymous with high touch and right now, we're committed to working with clients 6 feet part ... but we see this as an important opportunity to develop different ways of providing exclusive and memorable shopping experiences for clients near and far, today and in the future.
Something we have been doing more of is virtual visits, curbside pickup for phone or email orders, and 'no touch' delivery for those who live in the area. And, of course, we have always offered shipping for those who don't live nearby.
We miss your smiles, handshakes, and hugs, but we are so happy to see you all in your masks and visit with you at a safe distance. See you soon.
