Holes of Hope Golf Tournament

Todd Reed Holes of Hope golf tournament

Last Monday we were very proud to attend the 5th Annual Holes of Hope golf tournament at Lake Valley Golf Club in Niwot, CO. Todd and three of his loyal golfing pals participated in the tournament which was the perfect nexus of Todd’s passions: community involvement and golf.

The objective of the Holes of Hope golf tournament is to increase awareness and support the Tebo Cancer Center’s resources and needs. All net proceeds will be donated to the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation for exclusive use by the Tebo Cancer Center.” – Lake Valley Golf Club

Todd Reed was a participating sponsor of the event as well as a player in the tournament.

During my stay at Holes of Hope, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Tebo himself about his involvement with the Tebo Cancer Center and its origin.

My daughter had just gone through breast cancer, successfully. She recovered, and so we knew how intense that situation was. At the time, everyone in Boulder was having to go to Denver to get their treatments,” he shares.

Ultimately, Mr. Tebo provided the initial seed money to get the Tebo Cancer Center up and running. Seven years have now passed since they first opened their doors, and the local community has seen a profound affect ever since.

I’m not much of a golfer,” Tebo says, although he was certainly happy to attend this special event.

Holes of Hope is a charity that was started by members of Lake Valley Golf Club who knew people affected by cancer and wanted to do something about it. It is an annual event that takes place mid-June. We encourage anyone with an interest in participating next year to visit their website and get involved.
