Last week two ladies from our team took a class at a new spot on our Boulder block called Food Lab. The mission of Food Lab is to “help enhance the community’s level of culinary skills and food and wine knowledge in a fun, entertaining and informative way.”
At the class Miranda and Jen learned how to make vegan tamales. Both of them had a great time and enjoyed the meal they made.
“The experience was a blast. Our chef was a patient and encouraging teacher. Extremely knowledgeable about plant based cooking. I felt it was a great learning experience. And also, a great opportunity to share a fun experience with the community. Our food was delicious. And I left the experience feeling as if making tamales is something I could totally do at home.” – Jen, our Inventory Specialist
