February 6th, 2013: Todd Reed has taken the top prize for jewelry design in the Contemporary Metals category at the prestigious Centurion Show in Scottsdale, Arizona. His winning design, a palladium cuff with 4.55 ctw of brown brilliant diamonds, 11.07 ctw of white brilliant diamonds and a signature raw diamond cube ($80,740) is a testament to the versatility of Todd’s collection.

I started working with palladium around 1994,” says Todd. “The color of the metal and the local regional aspect of the mine is really important to me. It’s nice to have the metal be dramatic but still be light and super durable. With this piece I was inspired to create a statement cuff that was the perfect balance of brilliant diamonds and the rich color of palladium.

Todd Reed’s collection spans the jewelry spectrum from silver to 18ky, and from accessibly priced items to museum-quality collector’s pieces, all clearly part of his unique design vision and intense focus on quality and craftsmanship.

We’re so appreciative of the Centurion community for recognizing Todd with this award,” says Naomi Brown, spokeswoman for Todd Reed, Inc. “This competition includes some of the most dynamic and talented jewelry designers in the world, so this really is an honor.
