This is the third and final piece of our exhibit tour of Todd’s Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art installation from last Fall.
Placed in the center of the exhibit was a table covered in sketches, meaningful objects from Todd’s office and some of his earliest works.
The figure above is Ganesh – Todd always has this on his desk.
A slide gauge and some notes.
Coral and antler pieces. Todd usually designs with the raw materials he will use nearby.
Doodles and sketches.
Colored pencils and strands of black diamond beads.
Some early ring designs. The one of the left was part of a collaboration with Peter Schmidt and the wire rings on the right were made for AJDC’s annual design project.
More doodles and sketches.
A gorgeous tea pot and cups Todd made inthe early 90s. Silver, gold and citrine.
This exhibit was great – it gave people a look into Todd’s past as well as his design process. Hope you enjoyed the “tour.” And if you missed it, here are the parts one and two.
