We just came back from the biggest fine jewelry trade show of the year, COUTURE! Many of the latest designs that we debuted at the show were designed in one session. Todd designs when he has time and is feeling inspired. He uses whatever paper he has handy, sometimes napkins, but in this case it was an envelope!
Todd has always loved pairing oxidized sterling silver with 18ky yellow gold, so that isn’t new. What is new about these designs is the inspiration of form, the root of all design. As Todd was sketching this collection he started falling in love with form again and has used repeating shapes to create bold pieces. The shapes throughout this series are important. While he is using repeating shapes to create an impact, Todd does not plan to use the same shapes over and over. He plans to keep using new shapes and innovating the designs.
Another thing to note about this collection is the craftsmanship! Our master goldsmiths crafted these pieces, especially the bracelet, so that they lay perfectly on the body! They are bold, yet minimal and are very easy to wear!
