BMoCA, a contemporary art museum located in Boulder, is working with Swoon Art House, a studio for artist Rebecca DiDomenico, to bring international artists to Boulder. The program gives artists space, time and resources to work on new projects and encourages them to take risks.
Dutch artist Berndnaut Smilde, renowned for creating clouds in indoor spaces, is the first artist-in-residence. During his six weeks in Boulder he will explore creating and capturing rainbows within a space. He will also work on projecting rainbows onto Boulder landscapes.
